Mikan's POV
I was sitting by the window, staring out the cold, heavy rain. Your face had crossed my mind again. I felt hot, fat tears form in my eyes. I remembered your death clearly. Too clearly that it had to hurt a lot. How long has it been, Natsume? How long...
Flashback
Bang
A car accident has happened. Our car bumped to a truck and caused our car to tumble around. The impact was hard. I looked at him. His eyes were half-opened. His blood was sliding down his head.
"Mikan..." he said so tenderly as if he was okay. I can't bear looking at him like that. Tears that I held back started to flow. "I love you." he continued with a smile.
His words lingered in my head.
"I love you too Natsume." As I said this, a bigger smile formed in his face.
"Smile and live for me, Mikan." I just nodded.
"Don't go... Onegai," I pleaded. His eyes were closed. But he mumbled something,
"Aishiteru," it was faint yet audible. It was sad yet tender.
"Natsume!" I cried. I started to cry even more. He's dead. The one I love is dead. I felt a thousand needles pricking my fragile heart.
End Of Flashback
"Mommy!" a little boy called out. I turned my head to the side to see who it was.
"Hai, Natsume?" I asked. I named him after Natsume because they looked the same. He, our son, has crimson eyes and raven-black hair. But his eyes weren't as cold as his. He came up to me and hugged me.
"I love you Mommy,"
"I love you too..." 'Natsume...' I continued in my thought.
